RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS

We are seeing an increase in referrals of families with neuro-diverse children and parents suffering from both mental and physical health problems, so we urgently need to recruit more volunteers to provide the support they need.

We are looking for caring, empathetic, compassionate people with a love for children who can give a couple of hours a week to visit a family.

Our next training course starts on Wednesday 17th April and runs from 09:30 to 14:30 for 3 consecutive Wednesdays at WADE, 40 Reading Road, Wokingham. It is a relaxed and fun, workshop style course with a group of like minded people which will prepare you to become a home visiting volunteer. As a volunteer you will be fully supported and all your expenses will be paid.

This is a real opportunity to do something truly fulfilling, whether you are a stay at home mum whose children are a little older, or someone retired but who still has needs a purpose. It could even be first step back into the world of work for someone who’s been out of work for a while and lost their confidence.
