The Home-Start Wokingham & WADE Annual Charity Golf Day is on Friday 7th June so it’s time to dust off those golf clubs and start practicing your swing!
This is the third year that we have partnered with WADE, day care for the elderly in Wokingham, in organising this fundraising event at Hennerton Golf Club in Wargrave. We are hoping it will prove to be as sunny, fun and successful as in previous years.
The day will start at 8am with breakfast and the golf will start at 9am with a shotgun start. There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for the winning teams as well as the chance to win the Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive Competitions. There will also be four hole in one competitions with fabulous prizes including a £10,000 cash prize!!!
After the golf there will be a delicious 2 course carvery lunch and a raffle with some fabulous prizes and a celebrity auction.
All this for just £75 per person. The proceeds of the day will be shared between Home-Start and WADE, helping improve the lives of the most vulnerable, both young and old, in our community.
