Who We Help

Our Families
There’s no such thing as a typical Home-Start family
We spend time getting to know each family and understanding their individual circumstances. Together, we identify the areas where support is needed and set goals that are meaningful to them. With regular support and encouragement, we help families track their progress and celebrate the achievements they make along the way.
Every family we help has its own individual set of needs and challenges, including:
- Poor emotional wellbeing
- Illness
- Disabilities
- A lack of confidence
- Isolation from their community
- Multiple births
- Child behavioural issues
- Learning difficulties
- A lack of support
