We are extremely proud that Home-Start Wokingham District appeared on the Mayor of Wokingham Borough’s Covid Roll of Honour List this year.
We received this very welcome letter of commendation from Cllr Malcolm Richards at the end of his term as the Mayor of Wokingham Borough “for going the extra mile to support Wokingham Borough during these unprecedented times”.
In what is our 25th year of providing support to local young families, it is wonderful to have our work recognised in this way and to be thanked “for making a positive difference” in the community.
We must say, however, that we simply couldn’t do it without the time, energy and kindness of our amazing team of volunteers, so would like to say a massive thank you to them all for everything they do for their families. Well done everyone!!
