We are super excited to let you know that we have been selected to participate in the Big Give Christmas Challenge. That means that every donation made to our campaign via BigGive.org during the week of 3rd-10th December will be doubled. That’s right – DOUBLED!! So whatever you can give, no matter the size, every donation will make double the difference in supporting us to Give Children a Better Start this Christmas.
It costs just £30 to provide a vulnerable, young family with 2-3 hours of compassionate and life changing support by one of our wonderful, trained volunteers. Having a hand to hold or a shoulder to cry on can make all the difference to parents, getting them through the toughest of times. Without our support, the challenges they face could push them into crisis situations and if this happens it will usually be the youngest who are affected the most. We want to prevent more families from reaching crisis point by intervening at the earliest stage. The money donated will pay for 500 home-visits, giving many more children a better start in life.
The Big Give is a fantastic opportunity to double the difference we make. It’s the first time we’ve taken part in a campaign like this and to hit our target of £15,000 is a massive challenge but we’re really hoping that together we can do it.
