Whether you come to us with an idea already forming, or want to get stuck into something we're already running, there's a place for you.

What You Might Do
- Help run and support our fundraising events, from stalls to challenge events
- Get involved in campaigns, like our Christmas appeal or our 30th anniversary celebrations
- Bring your own fundraising ideas to life, with our support
- Set up a fundraising activity in your own local community, at a school, workplace or social group
- Help staff a stall or collection point
- Be part of a growing community of fundraisers across Wokingham District
A Community, Not Just a Rota
This role is as much about the people as the pounds raised. We'll bring fundraising volunteers together regularly, alongside our quarterly coffee mornings, to share ideas, celebrate what's been raised, and plan what's next. Bring a friend. Make some new ones.
Getting Started
You won't need to complete our full preparation course for this role. Instead, you'll have a short, informal induction so you understand our work and how fundraising fits into it, and you'll be supported by a member of our team throughout. [Confirm whether any fundraising activities, for example collections involving contact with the public, need a DBS check or a lighter-touch safeguarding briefing ]
